Their Story
Stephanie and Patrick met at a bar through mutual friends and had their first date over sushi. Two years into dating, they traveled to Sweden for a summer vacation. On their way, they had a layover in Paris. With this in mind, Patrick planned their stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, which has an amazing balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower. When they arrived he surprised Stephanie with champagne and macaroons and ultimately popped the question. Since Stephanie and Patrick fell in love with Jackson Hole on a previous trip, they knew it was where they wanted to have their destination wedding.
The Wedding
To start, Stephanie and Patrick immediately hired Hilary J. Events to plan their destination Jackson Hole wedding. They planned a bohemian luxury wedding for October in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to celebrate with their closest family. After that, they celebrated in their hometown of St Louis. In addition, Hilary chose one of my favorite florists in Jackson Hole, Flowers by Chloe! Her bouquets are so gorgeous, and they added the perfect touch to the intimate dinner celebration.
As you can see, there is something so special about celebrating your wedding with those that are closest to you. This was the kind of wedding that I didn’t want to end. I loved working with these two and could photograph their wedding over and over. In short, I love being a part of such intimate celebrations.
