Baking Peach Cobbler with my Grandma | Food Photography

September 24, 2018

How is Fall already here?  It snuck up way too fast!  One of my favorite things about September is when my grandma makes her famous peach cobbler.  She would always make it for my grandpas birthday and we could usually talk her into doing it for one more family gathering.   We have a big family, so if you showed up late to the party at my grandparents there was a good chance you wouldn’t get a slice.

I convinced my grandma into letting me photograph her while she made it, these are all film images.  I just loved this shoot, I love my grandma and have learned so much from her.  This was supposed to be published in the last Lifestyle edition of Magnolia Rouge, but they never ended up publishing it, so I am happy to finally get it up on my blog.  I will always cherish these photos and all that I have learned from my grandma in the kitchen!

Peach Cobbler from Grandma Walker

Fourth of July Baking

July 3, 2016

I love to bake on Sunday’s and today called for some patriotic looking recipes!  🙂  This Blueberry Pie from Williams and Sonoma is to die for, it seriously took us like 20 minutes to put it together, the hardest was waiting for it to bake and cool!  I am obsessed with the color that came oozing out after it was baked, it may be my new favorite color.

We forgot to buy some ice cream, so we made some in our hamster ball and it turned out really nice with the hot Blueberry Pie!

We also tried some Mini Blueberry Galettes and tried some with my raspberries and strawberries fresh from the garden!
