When Katie with Katie Booth Interiors called me to come photograph her home, I was so excited!  When I drove up to Katie’s home I knew it was going to be one of my favorites!  Her all white, modern style farmhouse sits in a beautiful apple orchard!  This would be my dream location! I love orchards, can you imagine all of the dinner parties and the time spent relaxing underneath the branches of the apple trees?  If she ever decides to sell, I want to be first on the list!  Every detail that she put together is perfect, I loved the all white, there was such a calm presence as you entered into the front entry!  I would die to be able to cook in her beautiful kitchen, I think I wouldn’t be able to stop cooking!

Her beautiful home is being featured on My Domaine today and I am so excited for her!   She has done interior design for awhile, but she is now taking on more clients!  If you live in Cache Valley, contact her to design your new home or to redesign your current one!  After I got done photographing it, I was so inspired to make changes in my home, I am currently now trying to use her inspiration to re do my office, it will probably take me awhile to get it finalized, but I want to create a space that makes me happy and inspired to work in.

I love this advice that Katie gave in the interview, “If Booth could offer one piece of decorating advice, it would be to only buy what you love. “I truly feel that you’ll be so much happier with the end result if you fill your home only with things you love and that mean something to you,” she says.”  You can see that in the items she chose to decorate her house with, every piece was thought out and intentional!  I think this is good advice for so many things in our life!

I know some people say you have to stick to one area of photography, but I disagree, all types of photography inspire me and make me happy!  I loved working on this project as much as I love photographing a portrait session!
