I love summer family shoots!  I am obsessed with the summer light, green mountains and beautiful wild flowers!  I always feel bad when clients come to a shoot and they are stressed out, they stress for weeks about finding the perfect outfits and if their kids will be good.  I want to try and take a few of those stresses away by giving you a few tips on choosing the perfect outfits!  One thing that I always tell moms is to pick an outfit that you love and plan everything else around that.  I love dresses for mom, they are always so flattering and they photograph so well!  You can dress them up and make it more formal, or you can make them casual too!  Laci found her beautiful lace dress at Anthropologie, and everything else worked perfect with it!  For dads I love a plain button up or something with a little pattern in it, with a chino pant, you can find awesome chinos at Banana Republic.  When choosing your kids outfits, don’t pick things that are too busy or distracting, neon colors reflect on their skin, and try not to have any logos on the shirts.
