Schwabacher Landing, Jackson Hole Family Photos

We had the most beautiful summer evening for this stunning family’s family photos in Jackson Hole. Their session took place at Schwabacher’s Landing, and the light was perfect for getting the views of the Tetons. Schwabacher’s Landing is a beautiful place in Jackson Hole. The scenery is so amazing and all the photos turned out so nice! This family traveled from Florida for a family vacation and hired me to photograph them while they were all together. I love that this is a new trend for vacations! What a cool way to remember your trip! I have enjoyed meeting so many people from all over when they come to visit Grand Teton, National Park. Being a Jackson Hole Family Photographer is truly the best job!

As soon as the family stepped out of their cars, I knew that it was going to be a great photoshoot. I still can’t get over how gorgeous all of their dresses were! I seriously could have done a full shoot with each family; it was hard to split the time up! The little kids were so much fun to photograph; their personalities were so happy! I loved seeing how much love this family had for each other, and you could tell that the grandparents were so proud of their children and grandchildren. It is always so special to photograph the relationships of other families.

I had so much fun photographing this beautiful family in Teton National Park. It is already pretty cold in Jackson in early November but still so beautiful!! I don’t think the Tetons ever look bad! Their little boy was such a champ with the cold!

This cute family just moved to Jackson and they are loving their new home, I don’t blame them! At the end of the shoot I just wanted to keep hanging out! They were such good parents to their little boy and I loved talking about all of the adventures that they have had so far in Jackson! They chose the most perfect outfits for the setting, neautrals are always a good choice when you are deciding what to wear for your photos. I love her hat that she brought along too for some of the pictures. Don’t be afraid to bring accessories that won’t be used for the entire shoot. I love having the guy wear a sport jacket with jeans, it is the perfect mix of formal and casual.

Looking to book a winter shoot in Jackson? Here are some tips to keep you warm during your winter photo session. Wear layers so you can stay as warm as possible with still keeping your style. Bring a coat or blanket to wrap up in between shots. If you wear gloves you can keep one on behind to try to keep as much warmth in. Wear good shoes or boots with warm socks, having warm feet will make all of the difference. Bring hand warmers. Bring some hot drinks along in a thermos for the car. Be ready to have a lot of fun, winter shoots can be some of my favorites! I will usually shoot as long as you can handle it and then we can warm up in the cars and go out for more. There is something so magical about seeing the Tetons in the winter, everything is just calm and peaceful. Jackson Hole is one of the prettiest places! I have started working more in the area and I can’t tell you how much I love it! It does not seem like work when I get to enjoy such amazing views.

This beautiful family came from Florida for a family vacation and scheduled some photos while they were there. It was a super smokey day, but the mountains came out just a little bit in the end. I loved going through these photos again, it was so hard narrowing it down for this post!
